truebeerman - Posted on Jul 28, 2009
сколько денег ты потерял от того что самолет украинский, а не российский?
PavelNT - Posted on Jul 28, 2009
truebeerman, во-первых самолёт не "украинский", во-вторых речь пока можно вести о сэкономленных деньгах , которые мы придержали. Я надеюсь оранжевые не сожгут документацию.

pretty funny how russia payed 60 percent of the testing and development and then decide to leave saying it became overpriced and they left.. but had already payed 3 billion dollars in the program wat a waste of money they shoulda just stayed with it

This plane sounds very annoying due to its special formed prop-blades.
ShiekUrBooty - Posted on Oct 18, 2009
I heard that newer models had noise dampening Jesus nuts on the prop hub.
mekko2000 - Posted on Nov 2, 2009
the An-70 is a joint Venture between Ukraine and Russia, technically Antonov is a Ukrainian Desing bureau, but lets not forget tha the founder Oleg Antovov was Russian and that Russia decided to move the Bureau (Antonov) from Russia to Kiev in the mid 50's....and like all airplanes from Antovov the An70 has more investment and tech know how from Russia than Ukraine itself.

devildriver66621 - Posted on Jan 9, 2010
a think it sound like a race track whit wings lol
Maloross - Posted on Jan 19, 2010
I don't think it is awful, just unfamiliar. I can imagine many people hearing a jet engine for the 1st time may have felt it was loud and annoying. The An-70 uses new engine technology(Prop-Fan) that combines the benefits of Turbo-prop technology with Turbo-Fan technology. It could be very useful for Cargo Transport or Passenger flights which don't require high speed and maximum fuel efficiency.
Maloross - Posted on Jan 19, 2010
It was actually moved in the 1940's, after the War ended and Kiev was rebuilt. As for "know how". This was originally from 1 country - USSR. And the An-70 was also "born" in the USSR. But the engines and many systems are made in Ukraine(Russia has separate Prop-Fan engine development - NK-93). Problem is even if there are developments in Russia, Government Bureaucrats did not think much before installing Western European and North American equipment(90% of key systems) in the Sukhoi SuperJet.
VPovver - Posted on Jan 26, 2010
This is Ukrainian - russain project.... But russian government braking this project... because of lack of money, and no capability to cooperate wit ukrainian Antonov company.

Извини, я тебе верю, но привык проверять. Ты так и не выкинул ни одной ссылки на оф.источники. Посему дальнейший разговор - не более чем пустая трата времени. =)
