L'any 1988 Gudrun Greunke publicà a l'editorial Obelisco el llibre "El montaje del síndrome tóxico", on desmunta la tesi oficial de l'oli de colza com agent causant de l'enverinament massiu, apuntant cap a pesticides organofosforats com els causants.
