In this day and age there should be some kind of online identity for every person that we can vote by. so people can see the results themselves. I'm sure voting online would have it's flaws at first but we should be able to invent something thats more reliable than this old system used around the world. I'm not saying this election was rigged but I sure don't trust this system of voting anymore, especially after what happened with Bush.

Yes there are big problems with the voting system which the USA has but an online system would be the worst thing imaginable. Virtually anything online can be hacked. The solution is to maintain the list of all registered voters (to assure that real people are voting), and then have each voter have an anonymous serial number to their vote, with which each can identify that their vote was indeed counted properly. This would ensure fair elections while maintaining the secret ballot.
