@srhmusic13 Violins and ukuleles are not tuned the same at all... Standard Violin - G-D-A-E Standard Ukulele - G-C-E-A with the G generally, but not always being tuned an octave higher than expected.

They're not tuned the same, violin is the same as a mandolin, Ukulele is the same as the top 4 strings of a guitar with a capo at 5th, with reentrant tuning.
