That whining is from the straight cut gears in the transmission. That's why the frequency gets higher the faster he goes; I don't think there's a supercharger on this car.

the noise comes from fuel pumps.if was transmission the sound shouldn't stops when the throttle is closed!

LOL!. You lot make me giggle. Whine is from the straight cut gears, as already said about 324 times. It quietens when you step off, as the load on the gears is reduced.

Unreal turn of speed!! Was that a mixed class race like lemans? he swept through so fast they all looked like rookies so if same class cars his superb. Smooth but famed fast.great meson in patient but fluid driving, very impressive Must have been the Stig hehe!!
