They aren't anti-war per say, their singer was in the fucking army. They are just against irrational violence, or wars caused/rooted from religion. They're anti-religion. The song Forty Six and 2 is about it.

Ok, for starters, I think you were trying to say that the video contained the swastika, which happened to be an icon for the Nazi party in World War 2. The neo-nazi party is non existent. They hold no government rule in any country. Before the swastika was used by the Third Reich as a symbol of their rule, the swastika was a hieroglyphic symbol invented by the Egyptians, which means HONOR.

@Drratburn that is totally untrue. tool produces so much more complex and in depth music then rush ever did they are way more ahead of their time, i'd like to see rush have this kind of energy and emotion in their songs.

@sergeantDICK Well, Rush was also in their prime almost thirty years ago man. I totally agree that within Tool's music, with the seemingly simple lyrics lies a complexity that allows for a wide range of interpretation. I praise them as fantastic musicians and writers with a vision unlike any I've seen in ages. However, I see glimpses of them in bands like Primus, Deftones and others. Long live Tool.
