You're in the position to do anything you want without being afraid of your own home. You think vietnamese should honor their enemies, while they killed the forests and butchered three million civilians? Or when the Soviet Union invaded Finland, Poland, Estonia, and else? The music was fine the narration was way over board and the direction was insane. He's walking toward her village, filled with emotion and then the director asks, "How do you feel?" And that is what american story telling has gone to shit. That impulse, right there. Just point the camera at him and we'll see how he feels, if he has to articulate his emotion while in the moment he will instantly be taken out of his emotions. Way to ruin the moment. Rookie move, dude.
