It's funnier if you have seen the 1931 (?) Frankenstein and then you'll see all the references in this movie. Example: In the old movie, the blind guy was playing the violin, not listening to a record.

This is utterly totally fucking brilliant.I love the way Mel Brooks kept loyal to the originals sets and the black and white film.However this "must" have took ages to get into the Can as I can not keep a straight Face when I even think about it.God knows how the Actors prevented themselves from "Corpsing" at every line.

All the times I have seen this film and I never knew it was Gene Hackman who played him. Now I'm wondering how I could have missed it! This and Putting on the Ritz are my favourite parts. Absolutley hilarious.
